Technical Range

LubeCo’s chemical and electrochemical surface treatment capabilities include processes designed to alter surface chemistry, improve corrosion resistance, and meet applicable industry and customer specifications, including:

  • Anodizing: Aluminum anodizing performed to MIL-A-8625, including Type I, Type II, and Type III processes
  • Passivation: Chemical passivation processes applied to stainless steel and other alloys to enhance corrosion resistance and surface cleanliness
  • Conversion Coating: Chemical conversion coatings applied to improve corrosion protection and coating adhesion
  • Phosphate Coating: Phosphate treatments used to prepare surfaces for subsequent coating or lubrication processes

LubeCo’s solid dry film lubricant operations are supported by equipment and process controls appropriate for applying molybdenum-, graphite-, and tungsten-based coatings in both organic and inorganic systems, including:
